It was an altogether wonderful spring day on the French Broad River as we celebrated the Grand Opening of Asheville’s only 2017 Southern Living Inspired Home. “It really was an exciting day and a great turnout,” says French Broad Crossing Developer and Founder Jack Fisher. “Beyond the unveiling of the Southern Living Inspired Home, it was a perfect opportunity for new prospects and families to mingle with homeowners and glimpse the incredible lifestyle we enjoy here every day along this river in the Western North Carolina Mountains.”

 The Grand Opening was a day of celebration and festivity and variety that was indicative of Nature’s distinct array of treasures. Individuals and families run the gamut here, coming from every corner of the country, and from various stages of life. Yet they all gather as one on weekends like this, knit together by a love of the Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as a sense of being a part of what’s most important in life – nature, friends, family, and good times on the river. “Look at everyone here. The people who are attracted to French Broad Crossing have a deep love of the outdoors,” says Sales Executive Debbie Fletcher. “They connect with the river, and in a deeper, more genuine way, with one another, regardless of age or background.”
