Grand Opening Saturday, October 7
First of all, let’s get one thing straight: there is no other equestrian center or barn like this in the Asheville region. Located just outside the town of Marshall at The Preserve at Little Pine—one of the truly premier mountain communities in Western North Carolina—this $1 million, state-of-the-art facility is something to behold, nearly as impressive as the awe-inspiring, 4,000-foot views that Little Pine bestows.
“We’re very excited to have the new Equestrian Center,” says Jack Fisher, Founder and CEO of Preserve Communities. “People are attracted to the outdoor living experience we have here—hiking through these beautiful forests, riding UTVs across miles of trails, fishing on the French Broad River, and now, having a top-tier facility to appeal to the strong number of equestrian enthusiasts and riders that this area attracts. This is going to open up a whole new world of adventure for our homeowners and guests.”
Again, this is no ordinary barn. The new facility, which will be fully operational this October, will boast 20 stalls, 2 outdoor riding rings, multiple tack rooms, and even a spacious office with a caretaker’s apartment upstairs. There is also an attached wing featuring multiple cross ties, washing stalls, and a farrier’s area. Just outside are several paddocks and miles of riding trails throughout the Little Pine community that beckon exploration.
The new Equestrian Center will serve as an enticing venue for special events and private parties. “We see this as being a multi-faceted facility that is a resource for a number of occasions or events,” says Fisher. “It was built not only for the horses, but for people too. We hope everyone can find some pleasure and enjoyment in this one-of-a-kind facility. Hopefully, it becomes a real focal point in the community.”
